I have a used top end for a 150cc cam head piston kit and all i took off mine at 3 miles

I'd for sure not take it back to that shop to have them rebuild the engine. Or maybe so--since they couldn't fix the problem, and since they charged you $400 to not fix the problem, see if they'll replace or rebuild the engine for their cost of parts only. Worth a try, they might just say sure why not.

I think people are jumping the gun here a few simple test will determine if the motor needs a rebuild or not.
1. First check the valves, and adjust them both to .004 inchs and this time check the timing. 2. Check the compression of the motor.. If the Compression is close to 150psi then motor is good. But if you have deep pockets then by all means get a new motor, but if not do those simple tests I mentioned and get back with the results. Alleyoop
