OH HECK YEA THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM. ONLY if the CDI is a DC CDI should it be hooked up to the battery. That is your problem. Alleyoop

ok well i definitally had the power wire wrong. Which I tested and Im geting 50v at the cdi when its cranking. Now the pickup im getting a constant .03-.06 volts

do you think i fried the cdi? Again my power is good and corrected still no spark

Good now you have the right power going to the CDI but you probably fried the CDI hooking it up to the battery. Alleyoop

it is on the dc setting! on the AC setting I have nothing.

I am not there to test it for you so either way new CDI or new Pick-up coil or both. Alleyoop
