Check your tire pressures! I have recently got my 50cc jonway scoot back on the road after stripping it down due to a poor running problem. Took it for a test ride and struggled to hit 20mph on the flat. Then my mate told me the rear tyre looked flat (but didn't feel like it). Checked it and it was only at 8psi! Should have been 40psi.Realised I've got a screw in the tyre causing a slow puncture. Needless to say,the difference is amazing. Hits 40mph on the flat again and is running sweet. Easy to check and may be the problem. Good luck

Check your tire pressures! It is a little late to be posting to this, but the tire pressure in rear was very low and before selling the bike I put some gas in and filled with air. Ran pretty good and had second thoughts of selling....lol
