Great! Enjoy! you could also sticker the bike, in case you're not into painting

A little upset with me at the present. I've been trying to tune the carburetor, but weather conditions have been erratic and experimenting with variator weighting. Otherwise, runs great, still out running other 50cc scoots in the area!lol

So, I went to the pet store for canned cat food for "King Kitty"....17 miles away. Today I noticed that cars weren't flying by as fast as they usually do, so I look at my speedo, needle was past the last line, so I think I need an electronic speedo now. A great problem to have

I think the newer models actually go to ~50MPH GPS verified, which would be around where ~60MPH would be on the speedo (just under the blinker). One way to know how fast you're going on an atm50, is to divide the km readout by 2. Next fuelup, try using BP Premium gasoline ( oct). There's something in there that gives higher performance. I recently put 15W40 in my ATM, because I like how it runs smoother, and besides, any speed above 40 is just crazy and scary fast for such a small scoot, and without protective gear. But 10W40 gave best results with me.

I'll give 89 a shot first. I buy scooter and lawn equipment fuel from one particular gas station that isn't exactly close, only because the fuel is ethanol free. Carbureted engines hate ethanol and fuel economy goes down. Ethanol is put in gasoline for emissions, not for efficiency. An octane rating on a fuel is the fuel's resistance to detonation, which is the occurrence that fuel is ignited in the chamber by anything other than the spark plug. Typically, these small engines are low compression and really don't approach low grade's limits, but it might help a little during the hotter months to up the fuel quality. Guess I'll find out for sure.
