This week end I will be driving to see the folks in Texas. I will be driving and going through Flagstaff, Albequeque, Amarillo. If anybody along the way would like to have a cup of coffee, I am sure I will have the time for a couple stops and a rest along the way. Any members that live in the area of Bonham Texas, it would be great to meet up and chat.
Give me a PM if you think you might have time.

Well I will be driving the truck, not riding, I will be pulling a trailer out there for the trip as well. But I can still post highway pics.
Fairly early on Saturday I will be hopping in the truck and heading to Texas for a week. Time to visit the folks and do a few chores for them that Dad can not handle anymore.
If any of you are along that route or close to it and would like to meet me for a cup of coffee, I am sure the break and the conversation will be nice to have. Send me a private message and we will make some plans.
I am planning on spending the night in Albuquerque then finishing the trip, I would rather get as far a Tucumcari for the night.

I think on your return-trip home, you need to take the north route, come through KC. We have good BBQ up here.... >'Kat

Well just dip on down a little and pass right on through Arkieland! ((* Let's see leaving Saturday and if you'll put a foot in ti and just stay on Int 40 you'll end up in my neck of the woods by Sunday evening! ^) Also you'll not get cold as it's back to the good old triple digit temps you're used to at home. JR's right, no chance right now of anyone getting any sort of too cold up here. Summer's finally hit. So, it's all worked out then. You leave Teyhas Sat, stop to visit JR Sun night. Mon morn resume your trip, make KC that eve or so. I'll even treat for Jack's Stack. Then resume on Tues to head west, young man. I betcha there's someone from here living in CO you can stay a night with. Then on to home. >'Kat

Except you've totally omitted ME, mister. Your plan bites, JR. Plain and simple. Doug, just tell your boss you'll be coming back with prime KC BBQ to share. That should gain you all the extra time you want. >'Kat

Oh, and then you can meet Celeste and Dasher, Doug. That alone should be worth the trip up to here.

Aw man, if only you'd thought of that sooner, Doug! Too late to get time off for a road trip. Plus I don't think the sushis would enjoy it. Have a safe trip, and a great time with your folks! >'Kat

Good luck on your trip and have a safe drive. I am a little too far out of the way to meet up with you though.
