If you look in my signature, you will see the current setup. When I first put on the BBK, I used the stock carb with a 79 jet.When removing the plug, I noticed it was real hard backing out. Sure enough, when I go to put it back in, the threads were stripped 
.Ok, I had another, swapped it out. (will helicoil that one) anyway thats when I changed carbs and put an 
jet in. The air fuel screw is pretty far out.indicating I could probably upjet. Runs strong though. So I go to remove the plug to check color, and Uh OH starts to get hard. so I soaked it with wd40, and worked it until it came out. Color looks ok! ???I see a few other similar builds with a 
jet. Do you think I should go to a 
? will performance suffer? I'm really happy with how it runs now, but I know a little on the rich side is better than the other way around.It has to be a heat issue. what do you guys think?
