Wangchicken,
WOW! That IS the cleanest custom I've seen many a moon! All chopped, molded and modded... lots and LOTS of work there... You're probably WAY too young to have experienced the kind of bikes we built in the fifties and sixties, but YOUR scoot would have been as timelessly appealing back then as it is now... It's truly "a little bit Harley chopper, a little bit Cushman Eagle, and a WHOLE lot of WILD modern 'nekked-scoot'"... Ruckus boyz, eat yer' hearts out!
Please do post more pix showing that incredibly-clean engine/suspension area, that side-mounted carb, all your custom bells n' whistles, etc.
I keep seeing more little things that mean "attention to detail" that seldom are found on scooters. It looks like the entire engine/rear-wheel assembly is "floating" in midair! I don't see any rear suspension, or rear brake control... You must have removed and cleaned up 40 pounds of junk from the handlebar area... Talk about "minimalist"... It really knocks me out! I think I'd like to see what you could do with a Harley bobber!
A big "thums-up" on this scoot build from the OldChopperGuy! This one should get all the tuner guys and gals off the couch and onto the tarmac, wrenches and Bondo in-hand... LOL!
Keep it well-locked up!
Leo in Texas
PS: I just noticed, NO kick-stand... Sits on the foot-peg. THAT is the absolute "icing on the cake"... Brother, YOU can style 'em! You may end up being known as the "Chip Foose of Scooters!"

NOW I see the brake pedal. And it may well be injected. I don't often "ooh and ahh" over a scooter, but THIS one is special!I'll bet I'm not the only one who'd like to see full photo-documentation on all the work. I've never seen MORE scooter in LESS frame. TOTALLY professional-looking fabrication!I'll bet it ain't slow, either!Sometimes a build just all comes together to be "just right" and THIS is one of those times... I'll bet pix of this one end up all over Europe, in every "Hooligan Scooter" bar and pub as inspiration! It is the perfect incarnation of "form follows function". Great work indeed! Two more thumbs up! Leo in Texas

Hey,
THAT "before" shot looks a LOT like Terrilee's "Chrissy"... Hmmm... It's final form is one FIRST-CLASS fabrication!I think I speak for a whole bunch of us when I say we'd like to see more pix, showing all your work on this one. This scooter is what so many riders would like to end up with. Just the fact that it's "possible" is an inspiration, although what I'm seeing here is beyond the average enthusiast's skills. It's still a great reference for styling and mods. Your total clean-up and frame treatment is a wonderful benchmark ref even for someone wanting to just make a cleaner bare-bonz scoot. There are not many custom scooters around my area. It's REALLY chopper and street-rod country. HOWEVER... there are a few dedicated scooter boys I see once in a while. One has a totally handmade scoot with a marvelous inch-thick, machined-aluminum "Swiss-cheesed" backbone-style frame, with a turbocharged Acura V-6 for power. The boy races crotch-rockets for money, and usually wins! Somehow, I think you'd like it... LOL!Anyway, if you can, PLEASE show us more of this scoot's final build! We LOVE it! ;D Leo in Texas
