Was on the big road comeing back from a nice curvy road ride , just enjoying the ride today keeping it around 60 kph mostly .....on the big road we have moped /cycle lanes on either sides . I was keeping the GPS app in hand and on the flats I was hitting 70/72 kph sustained . I passed a couple of cars a couple of different times ....they looked at me with that look on their faces . Lol it felt so good lol. 72/4 kph is like 80 kph on the car speedometer so I'm sure they were like looking at their speedos and thinking ..." That's a scooter and its passing me and I'm doing 80 ? " lol . No wind and no clouds ...just warm sunshine and open roads ......yup today was a good day lol.

Enjoy! I like riding too! In fact, doing between 30 and 40 MPH is most enjoyable, as you can enjoy the scenery. Beyond 40MPH speed becomes fun, but below it, it's seeing, and smelling and enjoying the scenery that's fun imho!

howdy and yup, i went over to my sisters' place just south of tillamook oregon and that was going down highway 22 which is curvy. i got to feel young again on the curves where i had visibility so knew no surprises were in store. but as stated i enjoy a more sedate pace for the most part. i still can't seem to break the habit of just keeping on keeping on instead of stopping to sightsee. i did stop at fort yamhill and enjoyed reading the histerical---er historical stuff and making a phone call as it is the last place for 40 miles or so with cell service.
lotsa miles and smiles to ya ken
