itistheride.boards.net/index.cgi?board=intro&action=display&thread=5Maybe it's the hot weather, in my case maybe it's the 13 days in a row in August of rain, but whatever it is sometimes it seems that when you think that everyone is on board and understands the rules of posting here you then have something, someone, some thread, etc. that comes along that shows you that some may not know or have read the rules here. Yesterday we were blessed with a double shot of it and many thanks to Alley for moving the threads. I'll not even go in to the details of what, why, etc. of how these threads broke the rules, one started out just for fun and quickly turned south, the other thread went south with just the title. I'll make this short and simple, if you don't know the rules of what is acceptable material for this forum then the above link explains it in simple easy to understand words and if you're not sure then Doug, myself and the other mods will be glad to answer any PM trying to help you understand. There are tons of forums around for this kind of material/subjects and this isn't one of them. We have at the request of members in the past put up a No Scooter Topic category and it has a wide range of allowable subjects and it's my belief that the category is lively, fun and a good thing unless these kind of subjects keep coming up. This isn't the only place this has happened but due to the nature of the category it has happened more on this particular one IMO. I'm not trying to be ugly and at this point I'm asking all members to adhere to the acceptable subject material that follows the rules. Let's show everyone in the scooter world that this is a friendly, fun, polite place where people want to be. JR

It's rather sad, and I would hate this to have to become a scooter topics only forum, as sidebar subjects add a welcome diversity and sense of fun to the postings.

99% of the members on here know what is pushing the envelope and what is not. There are plenty of topics not related to scooters that people can post and talk about that do not break the rules. It doesn't take a genius to know the difference between an acceptable and not acceptable topic and or video. It is really pretty simple, just like in a classroom there is always a few that just cannot fit in with the rest and one day you look around and they are no longer in the classroom. Aleppo

I am glad you understand what the consequences may be and I hope all understand the same. It was not a threat to you specifically, it applies to any and all who do not adhere to the rules. We let a few times go and just tell the members what is what. But if they keep on doing it, then yes they will shown the door. Alleyoop
