I have a new 3 wheeler 50cc. And have only 20 miles on motor but when I accelerate even a little there is a feeling that the carburetor is dragging I am not familiar with these Chinese carburetors ,but shouldn't I have a smoother acceleration or will that come with more mileage on motor? The air to gas ratio screw is sealed ! Should I remove the seal and adjust the screw if warranted ? Any suggestions ?? i took care of the lugging carb.I installed a new carb that the air/gas screw can be adjusted . Problem solved ,motor works fine now .

you can remove the block plate on the carb but sometimes there is no adjuster underneath, best to buy a new adjustable carb you can adjust and rejet.

The 19mm carbs work really good on the Ice Bear trikes.
The EPA has really screwed us on carbs. I don't think they have a clue that different altitudes require different adjustments and sometimes rejetting. The carbs we are seeing today not only have a plug over the air/fuel adjusting screw but also the bowls are held on by tamper proof screws. There is a tool called "GrabIT" that works quite well in removeing those screws. All you need is a reversing drill.
