My mechanic told me he knew a guy that could put a 150 cc motor on my 50 cc scooter. My scooter is a znen romeo 50 also sold by puma. He said the 50 and the 150 body was the same. Would like to know the pros and cons. I'm a big guy and i love the style of my scooter and it would be nice to keep up with traffic instead of 25mph on a flat road. Thanks for the advice. P.S. I'm a newb so please no telling me how easy i could do it myself. Thanks again.

It can be done, there are a few posts here and one other forums where it has been done. As long as the welds are correct and proper I don't see where you will have any issues.

I'm in the process of doing that now. There is a good bit of welding involved Monster GY6 sells a bolt on kit. For $600 with an engine included, that's not a bad price.

You probably will have to do some modifications on the CVT as well...
