Hey everyone I got a question . My floor boards on my scoot on one side were two meet have started to curl up at the junction , separating from the side lower rocker panel . I try and push then back down but i think due to sun they have molded them selves that way . The plastic in a softer plastic than the side panels , not as brittle , but they won't stay down . I have thought of taking a piece of aluminum tuneing and brace It against them forcing them back in place and another one on the other side to match although not needed as it is fine . Any suggestions or ther than replacing the floorboard ? Anyone else have this happen with their plastics ?thanks

if you have a heat gun you could try heating it up and bending it back into place and leave some kind of a weight on it so it wont spring back while cooling. or a clamp would be best

Thanks , I have thought of that also . May do that or some mod to cover it like a side rail or something this winter . Six months of no riding will be plenty of time to think about it lol.

be careful using a heat gun, plastic will shrink with heat added. I know my solution is ghetto but I just drilled a hole through the footbed panel and the side panel and used a zip tie to pull it all back together. Then again my scooter was knocked over by a car in a parking lot by some hit and run driver and it cracked several panels and I used a row of zip ties as stitches to pull the cracked pieces back together where I then superglued the at the cracks.
The cost of new body panels is a joke IMHO.
