I am pretty sure everything is connected. But I will look closely again. What is the resistance supposed to be on each coil - yellow to ? Obviously the white has power - or my headlight relay wouldn't energize.

Right. Just a brush to see if it goes up.

You just don't want for it to go to high and damage anything.

black wire disconnected, 13.4 at mid range RPM, brushed regulator side black wire to ground, no change 13.4
Idle or rev'ed: Yellow to yellow, yellow to yellow and yellow to yellow, all = 0.0V
yellow to yellow 1.4, 1.5, and 1.6 ohms, lead to lead.
Pretty much looks like I'm getting nothing out of the stator.
And now it is raining. }=

If the regulator was plugged in it knocks off the reading .

I had only the yellow wires disconnected. The meter automatically switches for AC or DC. I was going to try another meter, but the batteries were dead and dinner came along.

All stator and regulator wires disconnected yellows labeled A, B, C A-B = 48VAC A-C = 50VAC B-C = 52VAC Dont know what RPMs, just a good rev for a couple seconds

the numbers are good . look like the regulator is off . what if you plug all back aside from the red and see what the red puts out not connected to the scooter .
The red from the regulator .

I can check that tomorrow. I put it all back and still get the same 13-ish at medium revs.

I think I need a bit more. Gotta have enough reserve to charge a phone and GPS only load is the 45w hid you should have 80w left to play with . add some dc load see if you can pull the voltage down . John

the HID is rated @35w, vs the 45/45 halogen I was running, with 14.7V at anything above idle. Recall, the output of the original 8-pole system was down a bit when I only replaced the exhaust. I caught it in the new exhaust video. That was before I even started the EFI conversion.
