I own a Poulan TWIST--N--EDGE TE 450 CXL i bought at garage sale yesterday. The guy said the fuel filter line in the gas tank was dry rotted and no good. My question is.. the fuel filter that goes at end of tube that goes into the gas tank has to be the same if i replace that ? Also the fuel filter thats in the tank can be clean and reuse ? If so then dont need to do what i ask in first question..

You can just blow that filter in tank out,,its special and has a little weight on it to keep it at the bottom so you can turn the wacker any way you want and it will still pick up fuel to run. When installing a new line,,cut the end of the side going into the tank on a steep angle with a razor so you can grab it with a needle nose inside the tank and pull it through easier.
Good luck bro!
