I'm trying to figure out the differences between these 2 bikes. Is it strictly an ergonomic thing, or is there a difference in the engine as well. Both engines seem similar in size, so I'm guessing the performance will be similar.
Does anyone have experience with these two? I'm about ready to pull the trigger on another scooter, and think one of these will be it.
Thanks!

I like the way the 200 looks better but its your bike. I would do the Buddy 170i with fuel injection for that kind of money, green with white stripe

We already have a Buddy Blackjack. I love it, but the ergos aren't great for me.

Thanks for the info. It doesn't answer how much difference there is in the engines. I've googled it, and haven't found anything either.

The 200 will move better on the highway. A tuned 150 can top out around 65MPH, but usually rides best below 50MPH (~35-40MPH). A tuned 200cc usually tops out around 70MPH, and rides best below 58MPH (~40-45MPH); depending on how it's geared.

That's why I was curious if there was any real difference between them. I can get a 150 for less than $1300, while the S200 is around $1700.

the extra 9cc won't do much of anything. On a 50cc adding 9 cc is noticeable. But not on a bigger scoot.

Thanks for the info. It doesn't answer how much difference there is in the engines. Actually, I think it maybe does. I figured you'd check the detailed specs on each one. I didn't 'cause they mean nothing to me. But I guess I can cut'n'paste for you. Specs for the 200-- Engine Type Single-Cylinder Cylinders 1 Engine Stroke 4-Stroke Cooling Air Valves 2 Valves Per Cylinder 2 Valve Configuration SOHC Bore (mm/in) 60 / 2.36 Stroke (mm/in) 57.8 / 2.28 Displacement (cc/ci) 163 / 9.9 Starter Electric / Kick Fuel Requirements Regular US Miles Per Gallon (Combined) CAN Liters Per Kilometer (Combined) 2.6 Fuel Type Gas Carburetion Brand Keihin Fuel Injector No Carburetor Yes Number Of Carburetors 1 Carburetor?Size (mm) 22.1 Carburetion Type Carburetor Speed Governor No And for the 150-- Engine Type Single-Cylinder Cylinders 1 Engine Stroke 4-Stroke Cooling Air Valves 2 Valves Per Cylinder 2 Valve Configuration SOHC Bore (mm/in) 57.4 / 2.26 Stroke (mm/in) 57.8 / 2.28 Displacement (cc/ci) 152 / 9.3 Starter Electric / Kick Fuel Requirements Regular US Miles Per Gallon (Combined) 75 CAN Liters Per Kilometer (Combined) 3.1 Fuel Type Gas Carburetion Brand Keihin Fuel Injector No Carburetor Yes Number Of Carburetors 1 Carburetor?Size (mm) 22.1 Carburetion Type Carburetor Speed Governor No Was THAT what you wanted? Looks to me like lots of the specs are the same while some things aren't. Hope it helps. >'Kat

I rode both and bought a 2009 S200 leftover back in 2011. Cost less than a new 150 at the time.
They both were about the same except for 3-4 mph at best top end (GPS). So I guess it's a matter of what a couple of mph are worth to you. If everything were equal at the time I would have bought the 150 and put the cash in my pocket.
But I don't care about top end. If you do you could eat up the savings trying to get those few mph back later. I've found the 200 to be rock solid ,just over 10k miles, and would expect the 150 to be the same.
