Same-thing happened to me. I had to take out the bendix that gets spun by the kick lever and push the lever half way then insert the bendix back in and it worked. took roughly 20 tries. 2 Months later the cvt cover broke where it holds this bendix. I guess thats what what was causing it to lock up.

looks like a few teeth need to be moved past the bendix. near the end 2 teeth come together from what i could see in the vid... vid is a little fast, sorta hard to tell with all the moving around but that is what i saw.
