My motor just hit 16,000 miles. I changed the reed valves today and the metal stopper I guess you would call it was closer in on these. Is there a factory measurement for these? I'm fresh into the 2T world. But so far I'm loving it!

They are almost always set at 6-8mm. I always set mine at 8mm on 50-70cc engines.

Where exactly do you measure it when doing this?

I measure at the end of the stopper, between the stopper and the reed blade, where the gap is widest.
