I'll start it off with a few general comments since I've only had to change one bearing. Any and all bearings are there for the picking on ebay. Do some comparison shopping as the prices vary widely, as does the quality I'm sure. My bearing was held on by a locking ring - a "c" clip that you need special lock ring pliers to get out. The bearing itself was in the recess of a piece. I thought I needed a bearing puller, but I learned from the old site that you can get away with heating everything but the bearing and then knocking it out -- carefully. Put it back in the same way. It's a little harder to search the old site now, but do a google search with "scootdawg" and your search terms and they'll point you to threads on the old site. I'm still so pissed that that got shut down. Good luck and hopefully you'll get some posts more on point.

check with www.grainger.com Also check your local industrial bearing supply houses. Those are very common bearings. Don't let anyone overcharge you for them especially bike shops.Should'nt be more than 5-7.00 each
