Hi All,
I'm new to the forum but have done a lot of reading.
I have a 2009 nitro which I would like to make more like a 2stroke, in-terms of power. I know this isn't an easy task due to the nature of the motors, but looking for what others did to their nitros for improvements.
I've confirmed my nitro has a yellow CDI, which from I've read is a non-limited factory cdi. The top speed is ~35mph, and the accel is painful, almost dangerous in traffic. I hope to check if there is a washer on the variator over the weekend; I don't expect that to increase acceleration, but worth a shot.
Ideally I would be happy 65kph top speed, but more punch for accel. Any suggestions and experience with the tomos nitro 50 would be appreciated.
cheers

Not sure what weight rollers you have in there,,but if you go lower 1 gram or so,,your RPM will come up after the clutch engages till the cvt maxes out,,this may help pull you up to top speed faster,,try a UNI pod filter, and free flow exhaust also, the only way to run close to a 2 stroke would be to BBK it.2 strokes truck,,4 strokes $uck...lol..old saying from the motocross days
