Haha! Not as you thought, but, Today, on my 20mile trip to work, I have gotten a record of getting stuck behind red lights!
On my way to work, on the scoot, I literally got 100% of the lights red.
If you ever been in Europe, or other developed country, you will notice there's something like a 'green zone', where if most cars ride at a certain speed, they will get all the green lights.
Well, in my experience in living in crappy S-Florida, I've noted that usually you have a red zone, and no green zone. Or, If you ever want to get the green zone, go faster than the speed limits! Otherwise, be prepared to hit every red light you see!
Too bad, in my home country they honor green zones very well, but in S-Florida, traffic programmers either are seriously underpaid, or are lazy as #BLEEP#... Man! Not only traffic lights suck, also road conditions are in terrible shape! Sewer lids are on a part on the road where you would ride with your tires over (in europe, sewer pipe lids are in the center of the road, in such a way that cars would barely ever touch them with their tires; as the sewer pipe lids are smaller in diameter, than the width from inside of a car's tire, to the inside of the opposite tire).
Anyway, today was probably the worst! I got about 20 red lights to work, and another good 5 back home!

What I do when stuck in the red light cycle is pull over for a moment then resume in order to be on another timing of the cycle .
In SC if you are on two wheels after waiting 2 minutes it is legal to run the redlight as some intersections use the weigh sensors to trip it and a scooter or motorcycle is too light to do so .
I bought a Green Light Trigger which is s super strong magnet that you mount underneath the floor as it claims to help trip the sensors but did not work in SC at all

A magnet Probably would make fuel economy a lot worse, as there's a lot of steel in roads, and it'd drag..
