Thanks all! I wouldn't have thought a thing about compression at all. I've done one big bore kit but it ended in catastrophic failure! All though I can say that it was due to being excited and not double checking the parts I ordered. The kit went on and was running pretty well too. the only problem was it was lean at idle because I only had the stock idle jet #30 I believe. I ordered a #38 but received a #50 and installed it. It spit unburnt fuel out the exhaust and backfired a few times. I didn't run it long maybe 3min but the damage had already been done. I got a #35 and #38 to try and it blew up going down the road. Now I have a 72cc crate motor from scrappy in my T3 and its great. The 50mm or 53mm kit would be for my ruckus clone which needs more umph! and after what I read I fell confident if I take my time and quadruple check everything it would last as long as I take care of it.

yeah I have the equivalent of 2.5 base gaskets on my 50mm... haven't done a compression test yet but it's probably just under 200. Hopefully since I only use octane fuel that will be good enough for a few thousand miles. It's an older crank/case so if it goes, oh well, just transplant the BBK to a new one ;D
