[replyingto=domindart]domindart[/replyingto]I havnt tried yet,, You would really have to stand up and bounce the front really hard to get a 150 up in the air,,I rode wheelies for miles on my Honda Super Hawk 996,,it was a V-Twin power house.I miss that bike,,too old now to do that stuff anymore.
Doing wheelies on a china scoot would be risky,,have to be real careful about bringing the front end down easy,,lots of damage can happen to the forks, cowl, and under carriage,,especially if you go back past the balacing point and panic hitting the back break too hard will bring you down in a hurry!!Slam!!...Not good,,Ill just stay on two wheels with my scoot for now ;D

I agree. My scooter isn't going to be doing any wheelies

I wheelie daily. Hard not when you have power. Kat you don't pull up a wheelie your engine does. Clutchless wheelies require a lot of power but any bike with a clutch can wheelie. I've even wheelied a Gold Wing

Oooooh I COULD wheelie if I wanted to.. just blip my tomos throttle and I can hardly keep the wheels down. But I don't like to scare pedestrians around me so I just don't wheelie. Out of niceness.

HaHa... Biker Brad... I had forgotten about him. He got a lot of attention on a Sportster forum that I belong to. Yeah... totally fake. He had a bunch of us sucked in at first. I think he's got a couple more videos out there.

I wheelie daily. Hard not when you have power. Kat you don't pull up a wheelie your engine does. Clutchless wheelies require a lot of power but any bike with a clutch can wheelie. I've even wheelied a Gold Wing Okay, first off, I'm WAY impressed you wheelied a Goldy. Those things are HUGE!!!! They're like, what?, 8million pounds or something. But you say you don't pull up a wheelie. Then what was the Harley Wheelies Team doing? Looked to me like they pulled up the front ends. Of course, I've ridden a motorcycle all of three times (for my beginner MSF class), so what do I know? Maybe they are doing something with the clutch and the engine. ***** So Biker Brad was fake? See, why do that? What's the kick, pretending to be what you aren't? Different story if you made and posted it as "hey, I'm poking some fun at newbs that go way-overboard on the whole look thing." But to make like it's legit? Sad. >'Kat, an example of what you see is what I am

[replyingto=scootnwinn]scootnwinn[/replyingto]Power wheelies rule,, My 02' ZX 9R could power wheelie right up to the balancing point in 3rd gear,,alot of guys pop the clutch to get the front end up,,but rolling on the throttle is more impressive to say the least... On my 97'Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 I really had to pop the clutch hard and pull up/bounce the front end in first gear,,but it would come up to the balancing point,,then I would ride it until RPM's got up high,,then grab second gear and so on,,keep grabbing gears to keep the front end up.Bike was so heavy it was sketchy too keep it at the balancing point so I kept gaining speed while wheeling that bike. The trick is to keep it at the same RPM and balance like riding a uni cycle with a motor...lol..back brake is your best friend. They are popping the clutch and bouncing the front end Kat,,by doing that it helps to get the front end up to the point quicker. They are assisting the motor just a little by bouncing and pulling,,but like scootwinn said,,if you have the power,,you can just roll a wheelie by sitting down and twisting the throttle,,power wheelie! Good times.... Tom

I know many scooterist do wheelies, For me I won't do them, I just don't feel the need to do them, and I'm actually afraid of doing damage to the front forks when I come down.. Also most of the streets I ride on are public roads, not really the place to be doing such things IMHO.

I'm not riding the wheelie through town guys. It just comes up a bit when I leave a stop and lofts occasionally on acceleration...
