I might go see World War Z with Pops.. But I have a lot of home improvement stuff to do. Bushes today. Fix railing with cauk and paint tomorrow? (mom wanted it done today We are also putting new carpet in our basement apartment. The previous renter made crap of it and she had a cat that pee'd and stunk it up. Supposed to be nice in our area but maybe isolated T storms sunday.

It has been six years since I was howling at the full moon in the Mojave -- www.dslretorts.com/Paladin/archives/002372.html It is about time, eh? Then I was riding a 650 Savage: Moon, using flash. On the road with the rocks was moonlight, but I had to enhance it. I now have the Vespa, and a better camera. Should be able to get better pictures. If anyone want to tag along, I will be fueling at the T/A truck stop in Indio. 22 miles east to the park, they close the door at midnight so you can sneak in without paying, 63 miles thru the park to Joshua Tree. If they are closed, the Pilot truck stop will be open at the Interstate, just 28 mile further. That's the plan.

if i knew it was going to be that tough to change a tire i would have paid someone to do it.... On my Savage I managed to change the rear tire, front I worked on it for a couple of days and gave it to a local shop. Who did not mount the tire at the valve to the balance dot. I learned. I bought spare front/rear wheels. Then I can figure out an easy way.

I'm going to be sitting here waiting 'til monday when my UNI filter will supposedly come in the mail -_-. Got my jets today so I installed the #92, now I have to wait a few days to do a plug chop whilst stranded at the house. Woe is me.

[replyingto=domindart]domindart[/replyingto]It's that thing you do with a sparkplug in order to check whether your main jet is running lean or rich. You basically get your engine hot, put a brand new sparkplug in there, take a drive and go WOT as long as you can, then flip the kill switch and pull over. Then you remove the sparkplug and check the color of the tip comparing it to a general chart of colors. Darker is generally "richer", meaning more fuel; lighter is leaner, meaning more air.
Hope that's a good summary.
