Keep it up. And keep us updated. Don't forget to lube it up nice and good with the oil you use in your bike. Some people do it dry, but I had success doing mine with a bunch of oil and it helped the piston and rings slide into the cylinder.

Hey, my petcock, brand new, wouldn't open up enough for the bigger jet # ! So I had to install a manual one. Prolly faulty petcock.... it'll be hard to turn over also so you will want one of those orange ignition coils, and a 9amp battery. It'll crank on the first hit! I have the same Airsal kit from SPI. My exaust notch on my pistonthe edge was ground down to the main part of the piston in a v shape. Wonder if I should see if I can get another one.

So, the base gasket would be the one under the jug and not between the jug and head right? Just want to make sure before I put two in the wrong place.

I did let it run for a few minutes and road it around the neighborhood for about 5 minutes. Maybe the carb just needs tuned but i didn't fell a lot of difference in it.

OK, I think I need to order a couple of more jets. Maybe a 92 and If they have a also. Stock air flow doesn't work so put a used aftermarket filter that i has laying around on it. It would bog like crazy past half throttle. I took it off an revved it without any filter and it sounded like a beast and never bogged. I placed the stock air box back on and removed the plug that has the four small holes and it didn't bog out all but didn't seem to have as much power as running with no filter. I am guessing I should go down in jet size. Opinions please.

Difference in piston size.. As you can tell it was running really rich when it was stock. Attachments:

Top speed went from 30-31 to 38.7 and it was not full throttle. I haven't done full throttle and don't plan on it for awhile. Attachments:
