Sometimes its easier to remove the jet using a flat head screw driver,,the number should be on the side of the jet,,Ive seen the number right on top also.I need my cheaters on to read it,,thats how small the print is.
If you drop in replacing with the same size carb you had I wouldnt worry about plug chop,,but if you went up in size,,you might want to take a look at the plug. Also take note on how it runs,,does it take the fuel smooth all the way up through top end, does it backfire on decel, after a while you can tell just by listening to a motor how its running.
Hope that helped a little.

[replyingto=ramblinman]ramblinman[/replyingto]lol..it may not be marked,,but thats hard to believe if its a Keihin.Your best bet is to look at the plug.I know there are some chinese knock off Keihins out there and they may not have marked the jet.
If its a 24mm for a 150cc get yourself a jet kit off ebay that has the 110,115,and 120.Those will be the most useful jets for you depending on if you use a free flow exhaust and air filter. My aftermarket 24mm Keihin came stock with a 102.I had no top end RPM until I got up above 110,,now I have a 118 in there and it seems pretty snappy and the plug is chocolate brown.Id rather be a little on the rich side with such a high revving GY6 motor ya know...
