hard to find someone to rent it out. I suggest get your own and you can make some money by charging people to bore out their crankcase. Usually people around here charge $35.00

I must say that the scooter world is a whole different animal from almost any other hobby that I have. Take cars for example, expensive speciality tools are often rented from many different forums. Simple, somebody buys the tool then for a deposit and fee you can have the tool for x amount of time. Don't return it you don't get your deposit back. Break it lose part of your deposit. Renter pays shipping back, owner pays shipping there (included in the fee).
Honestly I would buy it but am tight on money for a while, my car just chewed up a huge part of my savings. I used to rent tools before I had a kid now I don't have the time to print shipping lables and keep track of different tools.
The scooter scene isn't really big up here. Most likely I will just bring it to a local machine shop and have them bore the cases if nobody up here steps up.
