I just rode this back from Beloit this afternoon. It has 9100 miles on it and is flawless as far as i can tell. It is a 1996 suzuki vs800 intruder. I had one of these before I bought my first harley. Loved it. 442 lbs----805cc vtwin. It is a torque monster for a small cruiser. I researched the specs. 0 to 60=5.8 seconds. 1/4 mile=13.6 seconds. Way more power than I need but it handles well and is fairly comfortable. I will prolly ad some mods to enhance the appearance. I paid $2600 and it included two $400 shoei helmets that I will sell as they are too small for me. The seller was up in years and no doubt at least a milionair as he had a big estate and a heard of lamas that he raised. beautiful animals. Attachments:

another angle. Thanks to all for the advice and tech tips about my scoot. I will keep it and enjoy an occaisional ride. I had a vs800 intruder like this back in 1984 before I got my first harley. Loved it but peer pressure led me to buy a hog. This bike is 200lbs lighter than the harley and so much easier to do a power slide on blacktop. At 68 years old I should know better but I could not resist. The VS800 is a classic and getting rarer. If you get the chance grab one. They are a torque monster. Attachments:

Nice bike Suzuki does it well. What size and color are the helmets? Are they full face? I might be interested...
