Hey guys n' gals,
I wish I knew more about web work. I'm an artist, but know little of the mechanics of the Internet. I made this banner to the same proportion as the ScooterRebels banner. When I open the site on my own PC monitor, it's pretty small, leaving a big empty area left and right. I save the art as a jpeg and send it to Doug. Then he and his associates make the art into the banner.
If it needs to be changed in proportion (like made much wider, but no taller) I can revise it. Just let me know if there is anything I can do to help...

Just know that many tablets, cellphones, and netbooks still use the 800x600, 1024x600, 1024x800 and 1280x800 pixels (some cheaper netbooks still have a 480p screen (800 to 852 x 480). If it fits good on 1024x600 screens, it's a go for me.
Eventhough my tablet has 1280x800 pixels, it's small 7" screen is much harder to read than my 10" 1024x600 pixels, and I notice I quite often have to zoom in webpages on those tablets (especially the ones with a 'retina' display).
On larger screens (like 32" 1600x1280 pix monitors, or greater) you might want to get a larger banner, as the users with such monitors could say they barely can read the banner.
Which is why, to this day, some forums still have the age old 800x600 pixel rule. If it fits on those resolutions, it is visible to all.

Perhaps something can be done about the borders? On the top, just under where it says: "you have X messages, 0 are new." "date and time"
There's still about an inch of border under that screen.
EDIT: Ow, the space is actually blocked banners by my adblock on my netbook.

Thanks JR, Folks this is the way I wanted it to look from the start, I have a test forum that is up and I had it this way over there but when I transferred the stuff here, it just would not work, so we made it the way it was because it was close. Jr spent some time debugging what was at the test forum to get it working here, something that was in the plans to begin with. Hey guys n' gals,

That white shows up on wider screens. Doug
