Felt conflicted about posting this and i hope it doesn't bother anyone. But this happened in an area i ride in sometimes but seems to have been a whirlwind of every worst case possible scenario. My best friend vaguely knew one of the deceased.

Summarizing this report it appears that at 3 am last night two men were on a scooter going 53 in a 35 when they collided head on with a police car traveling 77 mph without it's blue lights activated. Apparently alcohol may have been a factor and the scooter may have been stolen so it's hard to have much sympathy. But what struck me the strangest is the scene versus the description. Says the scooter crossed the centerline but it struck the right side of the car and at the scene the car is completely over the centerline. I certainly pin this one on the rider given all those circumstances but i think the officer still has some explaining to do.....

days or so. But then both parties were at blame..so it will be a tough call. The boys have sadly already received their punishment. Just a tragic story altogether and I am sure the whole town is in shock. 
I dislike when any 2 vehicles collide...and the news refers to it as an ACCIDENT. My belief is that anytime a person does something wrongful...it is NOT and accident. Just my 2 cents..
