Anyone happen to know how big the gas tank is on a 2011 atm50-a? I can't find the spec anywhere, even my manual says " When needle is close to red 1.5 liters will be plenty " Literally.... thats what is says no actual spec. My entire manual is all in broken English that I can't make heads or tails of half the time. I'm trying to calculate my mpg, but it's not like I can just run it bone dry then poof to the gas station. I live in an apartment and literally cannot have a gas tank according to manager " It's a safety hazard " or I would just run it low and let it sit till it ran dry. I have been looking and can't find it anywhere online, maybe i'm just not looking in the right place?

I'm not sure how knowing your gas tank size will help you calculate your mpg unless you plan on running yourself out of gas. To calculate your mileage. Fill your tank to the top and record your mileage. Then next time you fill up fill it to the top again. Now look at the gas pump and see how much gas you put in. This is how much gas you consumed. Now look at your mileage and subtract the original mileage from the first time you filled it up. Now divide the miles you did by how many gallons you filled up with.
Example: 850 miles before filling up the first time. 965 miles after filling up the second time. 1.38 Gallons put in
850-965=115 115/1.38=83.3333 So you got roughly 83mpg
You will never get a perfect mpg figure tho due to the expansion and contraction of gasoline and the fact that most moped speedos are way overcalibrated. Most people who have claims of upwards of 120 mpg have speedos which are overcalibrated. Tho there are some that may be getting that.

And also if your speedo is off you will need to manually keep track of the milage. You can also ride with a small bottle of gas incase you want to run almost empty. My 150 is getting about 60-62 mpg

Yes, I thought I was getting super good gas mileage at first. That is until I realized that the mileage was wrong, and I needed to divide it by 1.4 to get the right mileage. Once I did that... I was getting your average scooter mileage... bummer.

Ya a lot of them measure in Km. I added up the miles to and from work the avg amount of gas I put in about .3-.4 of a gallon every two days. It looks like I am getting around 65-70mpg with a 80cc ( 50mm ) bbk 22mm carb and a main. Not to bad, still better than any car running around town. Minus the 2 smart cars haha. I don't know why I didn't think to do that before. Sometimes I baffle even myself with bad brain function.
