If no juice at all I would suspect the FUSE feeding the IGNITION. I am sure it has a TUBE fuse they may look good but go bad on the ends WHICH you cannot see, REPLACE THE FUSE. Alleyoop

Yes the fuse on the thin red wire coming off the POSITIVE terminal of the battery. Plug Fuse you mean a SPADE type fuse? Anyway the RED wire with the fuse goes to the KEY and feeds the key then when you turn on the key it feeds 12v to the rest of the system. So if you are sure the fuse is good then you have to check the key and see if 12v is getting there and then turn the key on and check the other wires and see if it is making contact to the other contacts. You can test to make sure the fuse is passing voltage across the fuse. Check the voltage on the side of the fuse that is going to the key.
What happened that it was running and now NADA after being shut off? Did the scoot fall over or what? Alleyoop

If your not getting anything to the key WHAT does that tell you. 1. either it is not connected to the positive side of the battery or the fuse is bad NO 2 WAYS ABOUT IT. So RE-CHECK the FUSE don't just look at it TEST BOTH SIDES OF THE FUSE for juice.
The solenoid is connected to the battery Positive post and the other terminal goes to the starter.
The yellow and green wire carries the juice to the solenoid but only when you squeeze the brakes. The Start button completes the circuit by grounding the SOLENOID and then the SOLENOID sends the 12v from the battery to the starter.
But if no juice is going to the KEY then of course you will not have any juice going to the solenoid when you squeeze the brakes.
But I still say you have a bad fuse since you said no juice is going to the KEY. So RE-CHECK the FUSE don't just look at it TEST BOTH SIDES OF THE FUSE for juice. Alleyoop

Hey... I was having this exact same problem today. Can you kick start it? I was able to kick start mine and take it to the dealer and they said it was the voltage regulator.

Alleyoop.....you are the man...I did something I know better to do....I checked the fuse while it was still in...instead of taking it out.....it was bad...oh well I had to take the front off anyways and replace the headlight bulbs....Thx so much for your wisdom! Very much appreciated!

Great to hear easy fix, those darn fuses are tricky they may look good but are bad that is why you have to either just replace them or test both sides of the fuse to make sure voltage is getting across them. Alleyoop
