Did you put 2T oil in the gas tank ? Is you elite a 2T or 4T ? Did you put motor oil in the tank ? Harbo Freight has a siphon pump for 5 bucks with 2 hoses . Make sure to drain the carb bowl and may need to remove the jets and clean them

do you have an elite 80? if so, then you are in for some fun.
as said you will need to change plug, but you will probably need to clean the carb bowl and jets.
pop the driver side cover off, pull the fuel line off and point into bucket, pull the vacuum line off the top of the intake manifold (not the air box boot, the one close to the engine) and suck on it. this will open the petcock and let it drain.
get a right angle screwdriver (looks like an allen wrench but has phillips head) and remove the fuel bowl from the carb without removing it from the bike ITS MUCH EASIER THAT WAY!!! removing the carb entirely means removing the exhaust and rear wheel...
then you can access the jets to clean them as well as bowl. should be fine after that.
how many mileS? might be time for valve adjustment too.
there is a whole factory service manual online somewhere i kno i downloaded it. let me know if you need it or any help, ive torn thru my elite 100% know every inch

If it is an auto lube though the excess oil will foul plugs quick and lean out your mixture dangerously. I wouldn't think you need to clean the carb just drain the fuel. The float bowl should have a drain screw.
