I've got an old 150cc sitting that I've been using as a parts bike. Been sitting about 2 years with head and cylinder removed. Think it's worth putting back together?(with new parts of course). Or should I just scrp the whole thing? Just curious if worth a shot. I haven't looked indie or rust or anything like that yet. It has been outside uncovered.

is the block full of water? if so then the main bearings are probably seized. you can replace them, unless the cases are broken its rebuildable, just depends how much you can get another engine for vs rebuild i guess.
probably just get another motor. ive picked up whole scoots with running 150 for 100 bucks....

If it was covered and inside I'd rebuild it. Outside uncovered with the head and cylinder off for 2 years---probably not, and definitely not without splitting the case...IMO.

Thanks guys, I think I'm sending it to scrap. Some water inside. Was just thinking of doing it as a project. It's about the only thing left on the bike, and thought maybe it was worth a shot!
