I have a taotao 150 as my daily rider I have been wanting to up the Carb jets. But I would have to drill out the exiesting studs to get to my jets. Put new bolts in. What down falls if any other then increased fuel consumption.if I was to upgrade to a 30 mm Carb then put my free flow intake on?? Or would I end up unsatisfied and out $80 more??

You will be battling to get it to run right, to much fuel and air with a 30mm carb. You will have to change the jets to a smaller size on the 30mm and even then because of the larger Venturi it sucks in a lot of air.
Just either get an aftermarket 24mm carb which are not plugged or unplug your current one. Alleyoop
