Continueing this from the previous forum.
tvnacman, I checked the cranking rpm with a Stewart-Warner manual tachometer on the end of the crankshaft.

This Shen scooter does not have a tach.

I'm concerned with the ac out put from the stator . for the cdi and pulse . without having the scooter infront of me it makes it hard . have you tried another cdi and coil ? have you twisted the sparkplug boot on the coil . Use a jumper from the negative battery . If the ground for the cdi and coil ar poor it would give the same symptom .

Sorry , we seem to have lost our library. Maybe you need to go to scoot proffessor and search their library.
