I had a 835 ordered a 842 but its the same length and does not ride any higher on the varaitor.

What brand did you buy? I buy the gates kevlar belts and my 842 is longer than my 835 .

The 835 might be stretched to be the same as the 842, how many miles did you have on the 835?
