The front brake on my new 150cc scooter is a little squishy and the span of the hand lever is too wide. It is a disc brake (Chinese gy6 scooter). Is there an adjustment for the span? I don't see anything obvious. I'm thinking there could also be air in the brake line.

DX I'm interested to know too. Mine is ok, however I would prefer for the brake to start gripping sooner (25% of brake lever press instead of ~50%). Hydraulic system only. I have one with a fully hydraulic system, and another where the front brake system is hydraulic, but the connection from front brake lever and brake mechanism is with a brake cable, though internally the brake system uses a hydraulic system.

I think the only adjustment is for when the brakelight switch engages. Sounds like you have some air in the system. Bleeding should take care of it.
