Hi! I've been a scooter rider for several years now and have finally got a couple that, rather than sell followed by purchasing a new one, I want to keep! A Fly scooter Hero and a Benelli Andretti X50. Both are surprisingly sweet little rides. My problem, I did a real stuper with my Benelli and so now need to replace the engine, until I can get the original rebuilt. The original is a QJ1E40QMB. I can't find one anywhere. However, I can find a 1PE50QMF, the owner SAYS it came off a Benelli X50, but I'm naturally suspicious now, after using a Champion  spark plug that they claimed was for scooters. Will the motor mounts match up, or will I be opening a can of worms if I try to put the QMF on my Benelli?  |

dont know but if a straight 1e40qmb fits you can get those readily available dude. or bore the case.

i actualy found the long case at monster scooter parts. could have sworn i've seen more of them elsewhere. i dont know. that would be the 1pe model i believe.

there out stock a lot of sites still have them listed but no stock and yes the motor will mount with no issue and if you have to you can always swap the stators, but i have a 1e52qmf which is a 52mm bore yours will have a 50mm bore

Discontinued? Wow! Must have been too good, because my experience with them has been fantastic! Thanks Andrew. Thanks Teddy as well! Now if only the purchase and the switch-out will go as well! ;D
