Lexmoto Zoom 2 owner and pmsl I have zero mechanicing knowledge, but by god am I having to learn!
Its one year old....here are the problems...
Broken main stand (if on anything except super flat ground, it rocks forward and falls off) Snapped off left rear view mirror Broken speedometer Broken mud guard Very unreliable fuel gauge Very rusty exhaust
I had to learn how to replace the rear brake pads, done that, now its leaking brake fluid from near the reservoir...
It is actually better to ride than my previous three times the price Gilera Runner, howver the bodywork and overall quality is very cheap, but for £1100 cant really complain!

I WILL SAY IT AGAIN FOR THE LAST TIME, lol
ITS ALL A CRAP SHOOT
i got a fantastic scoot, no problems to write about 8000 miles on her. JUST THE LUCK OF THE DRAW
but then again, i am easy on things i own. No WOT 24/7, always PMing it (prevent Maint) NOT BEATING IT i knew from prior M/C exp what a 150 should and could do. Knew a 150 couldnt run 60+ so never tried.
if i had been on these forums before i bought her, i might not have bought her. ONLY because, people with scoots that DONT break down dont need to be here. So there are NO POSITIVE threads. it might have scared me off. But thanks great spirit that i bought her. One prob in 3 1/2 yrs that i couldnt fix. Numerous lil things that anyone should be able to fix, w/o running in crying about their china girl
back to the "i knew what a 150 should do" if u buy a 50 and wanna go 50 all day long, Yes your gonna have probs sooner or later i knew a 150 should do about 45-50 all day long, so thats what i asked her to do. a 150 is not a 35+ miles ( one way) commute scoot. Ya need a bit bigger
BUT FOR $400 , YEA I LOVE MY CHRISSY GIRL
EDIT::: i forgot to say mine is a Shanghai Schenke Motorcycle Company LTD. which is a subsidiary of Jonway, but i think that company cared more about quality control than their other Subsidiaries

I would concur that there are quality control consistency issues with a lot of the Chinese scooters. Sometimes you get a good one sometimes not so much. Sounds like I got lucky.

Nicely flamed it is certainly getting warm. You guessed it I work for Suzuki. All in fun Sn'W, all in fun. With everybody flaming everybody, I figured I'd take it to it's illogical (and loopy) conclusion. (now admit it, you really do work for Honyamuki, don't you?)

I took it as you meant it. I'm used to you by now. Nothing wrong with gentle ribbing among friends. And don't divulge my true employer please delete any reference...
