The baffles come loose inside of them so even if the muffler is secure it can still rattle. The other thing with this specific muffler is that it is actually a steel muffler with an aluminum case on the outside and if the case comes loose it starts to rattle too. If its brand new it should be good for quite a while tho.

I have thought about taking mine apart and see if I can fix the rattle.
