No way on anything CFMOTO. After what I hear about them canceling a lot of their scooter-only dealers and leaving their riders high and dry, anyone ever considering them would have to be nuts. Remember Daelim and United Motors?

It is hard to go wrong with an Aprilia. Vespa/Piaggio engines in a sport bike inspired frame. If you shop around you can still find leftover 2009 Fuel Injected Sport City 250's for $2,999 with dealer financing for around $100 a month.

Remember Daelim and United Motors? All the reviews are saying cfmoto is changing for the better And the fit n finish and quality is vastly improved I was under the assumption the original poster was looking for a cheaper/less expensive scooter If not, he should get a tmax majesty silverwing , not a clone scoot Just was adding some alternatives Thanx Dave Also, anyone buying a clone scoot should do so knowing there is no dealer support and you're strictly on your own after the purchase.

Price a clone 250 locally against a new Aprilia 250 and the numbers can compare favorably if you shop around especially when you can get dealer financing sometimes at 0% along with a full service 1 year warranty or a 4 year extended full service warranty. I could not afford the deal on the clone however the Aprilia worked out to be in my budget with a Sport Fairing, Givi Top Case and 4 Years Parts and Labor. With Aprilia you do get dealer support along with Aprilia USA and then Piaggio USA as fallbacks if the dealer does not treat you right. I have parts available locally and at more reasonable prices than I had be lead to believe by the naysayers. The service intervals are much longer due to the way the bike is engineered so the final cost of ownership has been far lower than it was keeping my Lance 150 running.
