Just make sure that you do not use any copper varients of anti-sieze on or near aluminum parts as they will eat away at each other.
Note that if you take a drift pin and lightly tap that collar in going all around it you can help break it loose for removal. Sometimes alternating sides in the standard pattern for tightening a wheel with 5 lugs helps when tapping a collar to get it loose.
