Cheesh... Being an old ex-soldier, how could I not like it! LOL!
Very neat scoot, and try not to be too concerned about the exhaust... Nobody likes the sound of these. The Asian "blatt... blatt... blatt..." sound is something you have to get used to. Even with a wide-open straight-pipe, they STILL sound the same, just a little bit louder.
After years of wondering "why" they sound like they do, I think I figured it out. These little Japanese-inspired engines DO actually put out over 1 hp per cubic inch. Pretty impressive! The efficient design of the engines really DOES burn most all the air/fuel mix INSIDE the combustion-chamber, and when the exhaust valve opens, it emits a demure, gentlemanly little "poot... poot... poot".
American engines putting out anywhere near the same power unashamedly open the exhaust valve before everything gets burned up, demanding "gimmie more gas NOW!!!" while sending a storm of -fire and window-breaking thunder down the pipes... Hmmm... Yeah, it wastes gas, fills the air with nasty stuff, but... Oh... It sounds SO beautiful to the American male ear!
Anyway, that's my theory. Probably wrong, but it makes sense to me... HeHeHe...
Enjoy that cammo ride!

Like it, but I just don't think Chrome and camo go together. It speaks to me, "I don't wanna be seen, but I wanna be seen." lol

I actually really like those. I saw one at the local show room (drool).... The only problem is my next scoot is gonna be a 250 plus or a Ninja. For what I wanna do, I might even need a 300 or 500 class scooter. I'm talking running on the 101, and hiway 80... from Sacramento to the Bay... The Helix is actually starting to look very tempting even tho I've never been in love with the looks. The more I do research tho, the more it starting to grow on me. Besides that, I've always been a Honda Fanboy, even if I drive clones... Now, if I could find one with a factory stereo... (did the Helix have stereo's?)
