encounter with Chinese technology and design. Meaning, the radiator hose going from the radiator to the water pump was routed and zip tied where it rubbed against a sharp part of the frame. I knew I had a leak, thought it was the clamps, still leaking. I finally saw where it was rubbing, but had to take the hose off in order to see the hole. Went to Autozone, bought a new hose, rerouted and made sure it wasn't touching any portion of the frame. Now just gotta flush out the old stuff and put in the new Prestone, silicate free stuff. Next is taking off the front wheel and regrease the axle. The front brakes are making a lot of noise, so gonna refine them also. And, I saw a couple bolts when I was under the scoot also. Wanna get the wrenches and go at thse also. I'm so glad I have a bike lift from when I worked on my Goldwing and Sabre. I just lift up the back end a couple feet, crawl under, and stare in amazement of how this thing is put together. I sure am glad I like to tinker. Pic is where the frame piece edge rubbed against the hose Actualy that metal tab serves no purpose and could be cut off. Which I may do when I get a new proper hose, which, I'm sure will be near to impossible, unless Jim goes back to the mfgr and orders a new one. Which, I may or may not ask/order. Ya like the way the water droplets run sideways? Yea, I should have rotated the pic deg. My bad. So Sue me!! Attachments:

Money Pit??
Well, the new hose cost $1.49, so, I ain't gonna complain yet. And, I kinda like tinkering. And the gallon of Prestone I can always use in one of the cars. So, as long as it stays simple, I still ain't gonna call no one out.

That was delivered slightly tongue-in-cheek Dave, the reality is not THAT bad (also I did a rather extensive rebuild) Hope the rest of your miles are truly trouble free!

At least it was a minor problem and fix I hope all the other issues are the same. Thanx and ride safe Dave
