If the idle is bouncing after the ENRICHER cuts off the extra fuel it is LEAN: First check for AIR LEAKS, cracked Air Tube going to the carb open connectors on the air box, Cracked Intake Manifold, Loose Clamps holding the Carb etc.. If no leaks then: If your carb has a FUEL RATIO screw, Screw is on the LEFT SIDE of the carb by the INTAKE MANIFOLD Turn it COUNTER CLOCKWISE 1/4 at a time and wait about 10 seconds or so to allow the motor to adjust to the new setting. Repeat as needed. VERY IMPORTANT:IF TURNING THE SCREW IN EITHER DIRECTION DOES NOT RAISE OR LOWER THE IDLE YOU HAVE A CLOGGED PILOT JET PASSAGE. If your carb has a AIR RATIO screw, Screw is on the RIGHT SIDE of the carb by the AIR INTAKE Turn it Clockwise 1/16-1/8 at a time does not take much and wait about 10 seconds or so to allow the motor to adjust to the new setting. Repeat as needed. VERY IMPORTANT:IF TURNING THE SCREW IN EITHER DIRECTION DOES NOT RAISE OR LOWER THE IDLE YOU HAVE A CLOGGED AIR PASSAGE. Here is where the RIGHT AMOUNT OF AIR to Fuel COMES IN: Alleyoop
