oh thanks great spirit
nothing to major
hank, they make a "pill popper" its like a syringe put the pill in, shove that down his poor lil throat push the plunger, and the pill pops down his throat.
i have tons of experience doing this at least ur wife can help hold him when u do this Me? i gotta hold the kid, hold the plunger, hold their mouth open and that takes 3 hands, and i only got 2.
thanks god thats all it was
YYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Did you try encasing it in a nice smelly cheese. Sharp cheddar or better.... Or are they liquid??

Hope he gets better ASAP..I stuff my dogs meds in a small piece of hotdog...small enough they dont chew. Just poke it in the center and down the hatch it goes.

Have always had collies so had to learn how to give pills without putting them down the throat. Have 3 pieces of cheese, the pill in one. Give one plain cheese but let the dog see the next one (with the pill) and give that before the dog swallows the first one. Give the last piece as fast as you can so the dog swallows the one with the pill before chewing it.

all good ideas but thats for dogs. lol
my cats are able to smell any pill and they dont take such HUGH bites they nibble
and inyu is a small dog, but i bet he can gobble a small piece of hot dog
i do have a very small pedestal and bowl that i will grind up a pill and put in wet food when i cant a pill down their throats

Hi Inuyasha is quite a different type of dog, when eating his food he takes it one piece at a time carries it away from the bowl drops the piece and plays with it a moment and only then eats it I have a pill popper and have had hounds since i was a child so know how to give a dog a pill but inuyasha will not let you grab his head and try to force any thing in his mouth He gets quite grumpy snarling and snapping, its the one thing he never lets me do but i would not like someone trying to do that to me either I shall come up with a plan though, i asked the vet about an oral solution that i could mix in with his water and he is looking into the possibilities have been able so far to get the pills in him but its quite an arduous endeavor Take care and ride safely Yours Hank

hope it works out
he eats like a cat, one piece at a time
piggers is kinda used to taking pills {poor boy has had so many} so i can do it with minimal scratches but when Kitty kitty Bitty bitty needed pills omg it was like you described fighting, snarling, hissing, scratching, terrible but i had to
gotta do what u gotta do
