[replyingto=millsc]millsc[/replyingto]Wow...then ya do need more CCA...since 105 CCA won't do it...this will at 160 CCA.... it cranked a 500cc Kawasaki UTV. www.ebay.com/itm/7A-BS-Lithium-Ion-Li-ion-Scooter-Powersports-Battery-/171007258460?pt=Other_Vehicle_Parts&hash=item27d0d3af5c&vxp=mtrBeware of the 'high torque' starters they sell. Many are just stock. High Torque ones have a different gauge wire and different number of windings on the armature. Some electronics person will hopefully and explain it to us...as I can't remember if it was thinner wire and more windings...thicker wire less..or more windings. Regardless a girl had a Longbo 50 that her brother milled the head for more compression. I had an old armature and compared it to her 'High Torque' one. They were identical. If you remove the end bell to check and see if they sent you a stock one...BE CAREFUL..only pull it back about 1/4" to see inside. Also..VERY IMPORTANT..put a mark on the end bell and other piece..that way if it happens to come apart you can get it back together properly..which is a huge PITA!. Reason for the scribe mark is..it is a DC motor...so if you get the end bell back on 180 degrees off...the motor will run backwards.
