When I was buying caliper paint, the lady at Auto Zone said she would not be responsible for any speeding tickets I incurred due to the fact of having them in Red. ;D

I recognize a T3 when I see one. Looks nice...finish it off and replace all those exposed bolts with Stainless steel and it will look much better!

[replyingto=ilovenxstage]ilovenxstage[/replyingto]Wow! That red caliper looks GREAT! Ferrari, eat yer' heart out... LOL!
I was going to do mine too, but found it won't come off the disk by simply removing the mount-bolts. It hits the rim. I'm not going to pull the wheel, but may try pulling the bolts holding the disk on and see if it will come off that way.
When I replaced my rear caliper, I found a chrome one, which is kind of neat. Fortunately, the rear caliper hangs out far enough to just pull it off and re-install it without interference.
I think you're gonna have one neat ride there!

I successfully opened up the CVT cover over the clutch bell. Didn't even damage the paint . I'll post pics tomorrow when it''s light.

Here is my modified CVT cover. I outlined the edge of the cut with blue to match the body of the scooter. Attachments:

Here is my modified CVT cover. I outlined the edge of the cut with blue to match the body of the scooter. THAT will git 'er done Hoss... Bet your belt and clutch-shoes will be thanking you this summer! Cheesh, I was just trying to figure out WHY your scoot looks so different from my generic ride... Then, duh... it dawned on me: It's a 50cc. I tend to assume anything Chinese is a 150. Old guys are just like that. Must be hardening of the arteries... The 150's are just a few mph faster (and NOT all that much faster...) but 50's look SO cool! I wish they could translate the look of the 50cc front-ends into the 150's. The 50's usually have a short, in-yo-face "pug" look, while our 150's have more of a long "nose" . I like the short "snoots" of the fifties. Lookin' GOOD!Leo in Texas
