Avoid this place at all costs. They way overcharge for services by the day, and you will at least be 1 week there. Take plenty of photos of arriving there with your scooter as well as somewhere secret on it mark it somehow as they have stolen 3 scooters in the last year by saying "You never brought your scooter in here for us to work on" I went to order a chinese ignition set for mine and it took 3 weeks and cost me $80. Their mechanics shop says it will only hire Kymco certified mechanics. Well I emailed and even called Kymco USA and they told me with a laugh that there is NO Kymco certification jst a basic cycle mechanic is fine by them. They also sell those $599 chinese 49cc scooters there marked up to $999 with anywhere from 100-300 miles already on them saying it is required for them to break in all scooters they sell. This shop is in Gainesville, Jacksonville (Orange Park area), St Augustine, and daytona ... same owners so avoid at all costs unless getting taken advantage of is ok with you.

I have been to the Solano Cycles in Orange Park, FL it seems like a great place. They had Kymcos which are pricey for me i prefer the Vento 150cc chinese scooters. They were friendly and they actually were on scootdawg forums. Only thing i have heard about them is that they are all pricey and one of the ex employees that is on my facebook account said he quit because of the owners. so idk. as for the parts they usually get them from partsforscooters.com since they are located in Florida. i saw a a bunch of their parts at the store.

The Solano Cycles here in Gainesville has really low ratings on Google compared to the other scooter shops around. 12/30 for Solano compared to 28/30 for New Scooters 4 Less (where I got my scooter). I'm in the market for a bigger more reliable scooter. I'd love a Kymco because they have solid reliability and parts are readily available for them. However, I don't think I'll be getting one from Solano and they are unfortunately the only Kymco dealer around. When I was first looking into the scooter dealers around here, I read all sorts of reviews about the owner and the mechanics at Solano not knowing what they're doing. They try everything they can to not honor their warranties. When you have a problem the mechanics often don't know what the problem is and start replacing things to see if it will fix it and you'll often be back a week later with the same or another problem. Of course, none of this is first hand experience.
