what is the difference between a 6, 8 and 11 pole stator. Besides the obvious that the have a different number of poles. Is one more superior than another and if so can the be swapped out for one another?

on the 150cc's all 3 will fit and mount , the flywheel on the 6pole is smaller . The 6 and 8 pole are single phase the 11 pole is 3phase . You may hear or see a dc stator that only means that there is not an ac coil to feed the cdi for the ignition (CDI) . Then the power for the cdi is from the battery followed by the headlights feeding from the charging circuit or battery .
Did that answer your question ? If you need more details ask .

It is Power. 6-8 pole 75 watts. 3 phase 150 watts. 3 phase symmetrical with flywheel, and regulator, 200+ watts The Flywheel magnets are larger on 3 phase. Real 3 phase like you find on a Honda Ruckus. The China 3 phases are kinda a hack. They are not symmetrical. They do make more power but not like a real 3 phase you see on Jap Bikes. See the symmetry here on the Honda Ruckus stator. Here is the 11 pole china design. 150cc 3 phase. Here is a china 3 phase symmetrical, notice no IGN coil. This is the ONE for Max Power.
